Easy Hub Ideas Get More HubPages Traffic
74More Hubs Means More Traffic
Whether you are new to HubPages or you have been a member of HubPages for a long time, there is one universal truth. The more hubs you have, the more traffic you will get.
This is not to say that having the most hubs means you will have the most traffic. Far from it. Many factors go into determining how much traffic a Hub author gets and how much traffic a specific hub gets. Everything from carefully chosen keywords, to link building, to cross-linking, to social bookmarking can generate more traffic for an individual hub.
Yes, even the quality of the hub can have a bearing on how much traffic it gets. Everyone always says Content Is King . That isn't actually true, but having good hubs definitely helps ensure that visitors stick around and click more links which means more traffic to your hubs.
However, for any given author, the more hubs that author has, the more traffic they will get. It is simple mathematics. More hubs means more potential chances to be displayed as a link on someone else's hubs or in a topic or category listing. More hubs means more chances to show up in search engine results.
Last, but not least, more hubs means more links to your existing hubs. Why? Because your profile page lists the hubs you have published and your groups and so on. If you have 100 hubs, then that means 100 hubs are linking to your profile which is linking to all 100 hubs. There is more link juice there than there is if you have 10 hubs.
Write Hubs Fast and Easy
But isn't writing Hubs a time consuming process?
Not as much as you might think.
Numerous Hubbers do nothing but put up pictures of hot actresses, beautiful women, or cute girls with just a minimum amount of text. These pages get plenty of traffic which in turn raises their Hubscore. Those higher hubscores average out to create a higher author score. Just go through the list of Top HubPages authors on any screen and you'll see what I'm talking about.
Even if you don't feel like pandering to the lowest common denominator with girly picture Hubs, there are plenty of other easy topics that can have you cranking out hubs by the dozens. Using these topics still means creating quality hubs with useful information, because people are interested in these categories. But, sometimes, as authors, we think that they are too easy, too simple, or too basic to cover. Don't make that mistake. People want to know what you want to know, so tell them!

I enjoy the girlie pictures. Anything wrong with the "lowest common denominator"?
Good info here thks, didn't realise what the idea of posting a hub with mostly photos was but I do now lol
Good hub. You opened my eyes to the fact that a popular lower quality but popular hub can help the better ones. I might give that a try. Thanks.
. . .And it seems that writing Hubs about Hub pages and how to get more hubs written is also a good way to write Hubs.
I have read a few of these.
Excellent hub and some real good ideas and information. Thanks so much for sharing with us.! I have 269 hubs but only 100 or so veiws per day :( I will try my luck at your ideas and see what happens.
Thanks for an informational read. Very true marketing ideas for a hubpage. Cool!
Good tips, Hub Llama. I am new to hubbing, and your get-off-your-butt-and just-type-it attitude is firing me up!
Simple tips and thanks for sharing your experience although pictures shouldn't be the criteria for high score. There are some hubs which have 100 score and very undeserving. There are some interesting subjects which need to be discussed elaborately .Even 2000 words will fall short to explain the whole subject.A hub ideally should be informative rather than entertaining. There are some great hubs with very few pictures. Having pictures always is welcome as it enhances your Hub but just pictures with few lines doesn't serve the purpose. These are my views. Subject on gardens will need beautiful pictures of flowers and that is a necessity there.

Thanks for sharing! Great Hub! I always wonder why a Hub will have a high hubscore that essentially is just a picture when a well written content Hub has a lower score. Just doesn't seem fair. lol
